A Journal-ed journey for 2019!

Put your hand in front of you Now imagine yourself touching 2019, that's how close we are to a new year. A lot of people can't wait to see what surprise each month has. Well, there are good surprises and there are also bad ones. Good ones are when it's your birthday and your family or friends plan a secret party for you or when a loved one surprisingly sends you some cash. Bad surprises are… well I'm not going to list them. I don't want to put anyone in the wrong mood. But we can avoid some bad surprises, don't you think? That's only if we plan each day ahead of us. I really hate it when an event or somebody takes me by surprise. That's why I want to have a journal. And the amazing part is you can write all your goals in your journal too. Just make sure you keep up. The good thing about journals is seeing the beauty inside of you written in ink makes you hyped up to accomplish and meet up with that. But you may have problems on how to set goals, hence...

Will you go to the club with me?😏

If you've been following my Instagram page, you'll know that I have been making a lot of noise about a book club since. Yep, I said book club. It's only best that we track our book reading habits and see how much progress we have. But why do it alone? That's why we are going to have this small community of friends with like minds who want to change their life by reading one book a day. Don't worry, we'll not only read the book, we'll put to practice what we learn. So come January 2nd our book club will open officially. I'm excited πŸ’ƒ. Hope we all are. But there are rules guiding this book-idemic that we're spreading. I know right? Rules are such a bore and we don't like them. But we need them if we want this to be a success. Some important things to note: 1. All of us are leaders, therefore we all are going to lead a book review at some point in time. 2. Everybody must participate, no opportunity for observers 3. For a start, we will start...

Four more days to 2k19!πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ

Four more days to an incredible new year! But amidst all the food and jollyness, we can't omit the uncertainty that comes with it. It's a new year with fresh 12 months and we have plans. But the unfortunate part is most of us our plans are in our mind(which has 89% chance of being forgotten). That's why as your book fairy godmother πŸ˜†, I'm here to guide you into the first book that is definitely going to change your life! The book you need as you enter into the year 2019 is a journal! Yes! A Journal. A really big one if you have big dreams☺️. I'm getting a journal too. But you might ask questions like; why do I need a journal? I hate writing? What if someone sees it? The last time I owned a journal, I didn't use it, bla bla bla. You need a journal because study has shown that the best way to remember things is to write stuff down. So you wanna get stuff done? Write it down! You wanna make a budget? Write it down! You want to vent your emtions? Write it d...

Introduction II

First post😏. So I opened this blog strictly to know my other bookworms that seem to hide under all the glamouring of HD photos and videos. Hide no more. You see, growing up around people wayyyy older than I am, I was always given classics to read and the world of books never ceased to amaze me. Of recent, I realized that my nose has been so stuck in a book that I almost (relax, I said almost) lost touch with the real world. But guess what? All the reading and the writing made me realize that there are others just like me with the same drive and passion(and low-key obsession) for books. Yes, I'm a bibliophile. And you and me we can go through each book-venture little by little and find out what each book has in store for us and humanity at large. Would you look at that? So it's a day after Christmas and we've just finished flushing the toilet and we're all set up for the new year. But we keep forgetting something: Readers are leaders! We've made resolutions about...

Spreading the book fever. So yes, I'm a bug.

Let me introduce myself, I'm an introvert. Yes just like you and my nose is mostly stuck in a book( definitely not in other people's business). But I've realized how carried away I can get and created this blog to tell you all about my adventures in all the books I've read(which might increase in number because it's incurable). I'll make sure you, and you and you and every one else to catch this bug. And yes I have a life and yes it's a fairly amazing one. But it's so amazing to see someone who shares the same interests as you. That's why I love book partners and bookclubs. Unfortunately, there are none in Benin. And Nigerians don't really like to read. So me and you together, we can spread the book fever. You feel me? So where my fellow bookworms at?πŸ˜€ Come join me on this crazy book-venture.  But it's Christmas and we must all have a Christmas spirit unlike the Grinch. He's realπŸ™„. Just that he's stuck in a book and boun...
