Will you go to the club with me?😏

If you've been following my Instagram page, you'll know that I have been making a lot of noise about a book club since. Yep, I said book club. It's only best that we track our book reading habits and see how much progress we have. But why do it alone? That's why we are going to have this small community of friends with like minds who want to change their life by reading one book a day.
Don't worry, we'll not only read the book, we'll put to practice what we learn. So come January 2nd our book club will open officially.
I'm excited 💃. Hope we all are.
But there are rules guiding this book-idemic that we're spreading. I know right? Rules are such a bore and we don't like them. But we need them if we want this to be a success.

Some important things to note:

1. All of us are leaders, therefore we all are going to lead a book review at some point in time.

2. Everybody must participate, no opportunity for observers
3. For a start, we will start with one book for 14 days.

4. You have probably read some of the books but this time, we are applying them.

5. Books will cover; Spiritual, fiction, history, young adult, devotionals, leadership, etc.
Tighten you seat belt, you are about to have the best year ever as you see yourself transform into a better you.

This is not an ordinary motivation. It is result oriented ✌🏾.

So come 2019, I'll open a WhatsApp group for all of us and we'll kick off! So come with your cup of coffee, a snack, and a willing heart and watch your lives transform, people!

PS: make sure to tell others! Never forget; Readers are leaders.

Bookworm problems101. Can you relate?

I've been meaning to talk about this, even though I don't know where or how to begin. Throughout my years of being a bibliophile I've realized so many silly reading habits of mine that I need to get rid off. Unfortunately, this is the first problem we all face. My TBR list is crying everyday to be read. I'm suffering from this and really hate it because it's not right. Jokes apart, having a loooonnggg TBR list is terrible. Simply means as individual you lack self control and patience because I tell you the truth that those new bestsellers are not going anywhere, they'll always be there for us no matter what. So it's better to finish the current ones before buying new books(I know we love the smell of a new book) but I realize that the longer my TBR list grew, the more impatient I get with the current book I'm reading. Where it gets so bad is when we we finally finish up the book we were reading and because we're such in a haste to begin a new one...

A Journal-ed journey for 2019!

Put your hand in front of you Now imagine yourself touching 2019, that's how close we are to a new year. A lot of people can't wait to see what surprise each month has. Well, there are good surprises and there are also bad ones. Good ones are when it's your birthday and your family or friends plan a secret party for you or when a loved one surprisingly sends you some cash. Bad surprises are… well I'm not going to list them. I don't want to put anyone in the wrong mood. But we can avoid some bad surprises, don't you think? That's only if we plan each day ahead of us. I really hate it when an event or somebody takes me by surprise. That's why I want to have a journal. And the amazing part is you can write all your goals in your journal too. Just make sure you keep up. The good thing about journals is seeing the beauty inside of you written in ink makes you hyped up to accomplish and meet up with that. But you may have problems on how to set goals, hence...

Book review... AGAIN!

This is another amazing book I've read this year.  So I'm going to write my brief review underneath because sigh, I love to give opinions (nobody asked for) on books I've read. ___________________________________ Ratings: I'm going to give this book a 5/5! Only because I love everything about the book. I love it too much to see a flaw, so yes it deserves that rating. I haven't read any bad book this year yet. This information makes me both happy and anxious at the same time. ____________________________________ Synopsis: A book set in a high school with the spotlight on four students for witnessing a murder of a depressed gossip. A geek, a criminal, a jock and a Princess. _____________________________________ I gotta admit this book was nothing like I expected it to be. Although the beginning seemed a bit slow for me, I love how things turned out. I love the author for not making this some cliche high school book filled with stereotypes. But she crafted her ...
